The Transhumance festival in Saint Etienne represents traditional life in the High Country of Nice.
A great day with the passage of the herd of 2000 head through the streets of the village. Animal exhibitions, craft stands, entertainment (sheep shearing, free museum visits (old dairy, the communal oven and the kitchen of yesteryear, the school of yesteryear), the making of churned butter and sheep collars, wool woodworking, horseback riding, free cable car up and down, the Petit Bois des Lutins, the body of water ....
