A major artistic figure in the second half of the twentieth century, Ben Vautier is known for his actions and paintings. His production, both philosophical and impertinent reflection on art, integrates our daily life into what he has most particular, and succeeds in making the art of living.
For the event "nice 2019, the Odyssey of cinema", the city of Nice and the collective of artists la station, with the support of Eva Vautier, invite Ben to the great Halle of the 109.
This extraordinary space hosts over 500 of his works, including his films, which immortalize his concepts, performances and street actions, tracing alongside his latest productions, 50 years of creation.
As he has always been obliged to do so, Ben invites a hundred artists, historical or emerging, recognized locally or internationally, recent acquaintances or longtime friends.
