Real case of greenery at the entrance to Nice, the Phoenix Park welcomes you throughout the summer from 9:30 to 19:30

Seven hectares of discovery await you: 2500 plant species, which some considered rare, and one of the largest tropical greenhouses in Europe: 7000 m2 and 25 meters high.

Discovery area of flora and fauna, but also of relaxation and leisure, this place will delight both nature lovers, gardeners, or botanists fans than walkers, the animal lovers, or parents looking for recreation for their children.

A playground in the heart of the park for the little ones: his flip-flops, slides and playhouses, then the corner of adults where the beautiful colorful structures coexist turnstiles and slides of benches and picnic tables are available to visitors.

The animals of the Park

Discover animals of the Park: Lemurs Vari, Wallabies,otters, marmosets to white, brushes Kookaburas of Australia... but also farm animals: Gaston the pig, Germaine dwarf chicken... and others... will make the happiness of the children

Exceptional: birth of a baby lemur Vari

Protected by his mother, this adorable offspring born on 1St June 2017 is to discover in the heart of the Phoenix Park! The couple of lemurs in 2013 with the capacity of the Park, by the reproduction and conservation of Europeans EEP program, well adapted to the Riviera climate, since it is already reproduced in 2015. The family today is growing as a small just born.

The stakes are high for the Phoenix Park: participate in the preservation of this endangered species. Barely a few centimeters and already awake, this small lemur Vari is the favorite of the Phoenix Park. He joined these some 500 congeners currently identified at the level of the EEP (European endangered species program).

But also... exhibitions

During the summer, the Phoenix Park also offers a wide range of art exhibitions that are available for free in the rooms located at the entrance of the Park: Cassini and Prairial, Floréal.

Incipit

Exhibition of Visual artist Alexandra Allard until 27 August 2017: Cassini and Floréal rooms

Incipit comes from the latin Incipio : Start,it means the beginning of a work... Thus the exhibition comes down Alexandra Allard: " INCIPIT means at the beginning was the line, the word, the line, the verb...» The first note of the song... for me the beginning is as for all artists a whatever emotional thing then translate, I translated it in two ways gradually since 2005 and now I am come to the nest box in 2017... Passionate about birds, exhibit at the Phoenix Park appeared to him self-evident: his work goes into resonance with the purpose of the place and respect for the animals that are there.

Figurative mind

Exhibition of the Russian painter Alexandre Beridze, until September 3, 2017: Prairial room

Through his unique style, Alexandre Beridze is the first painter who managed to represent the process of reflection on the surface of the canvas. Described as a "King of the abstract", his works were noticed by the expert Jean Louis TRIPON essayist in science of mental life. The idea to create the book "A discovery of our mental life". 130 works of the artist are so chosen to illustrate this book.

Exhibition of the Association "eyes of the South" jdu June 17 to July 16, 2017 : Room Emerald

Thirty local artists, who participated in national exhibitions, came together: Emelle, Hélène.. Fernex and many more, to exhibit their works in different media (traditional photo paper, aluminium, but also covering PVC plate) in the Emerald room. This exhibition's ambition to highlight sources of joy, beauty and sometimes barely hidden creative potential.

Tarif unique en journée : 4 € résidents sur le territoire de la Métropole, 5 € résidents hors Métropole, gratuit pour les moins de 12 ans (dans la limite de 3 enfants maximum par adulte payant), gratuit sur présentation d’une carte d’invalidité.

2h offertes au parking Semiacs Arénas pendant les week-ends et jours fériés, après validation du ticket aux guichets du Parc Phoenix.
