In 1954, Jean Ferrero created Studio Ferrero, a photography studio where he rubbed shoulders with many artists such as Picasso, Cocteau, Hartung but also young artists from Nice who were then unknown such as Arman, César, Klein, Ben, ... . In 1972, he opened the Ferrero Gallery, a place mainly oriented towards artists from the School of Nice and New Realism. And in 2003, Jean Ferrero passed the baton to Guillaume Aral, who maintained the historical orientation of the gallery while opening it to a new generation of artists, mainly from the Côte d'Azur.
Guillaume Aral gave a second life to the Ferrero Gallery. The gallery's new headquarters is at 6 Congress Street, in a more intimate and warm setting, plus a sculpture garden.
