Welcome to BistrO Gourmand!
A stone's throw from the old Nice and the Promenade des Anglais, Le Bistro Gourmand opens its luminous and design décor, with its large glass opening onto the terrace and its gastronomy becoming a reference.

This modern home is that of Laurence and David Vaqué. Trained at Michel Gauthier (Le Rouzic in Bordeaux), former of Guérard and Boyer, this native of Agen arrives from the starred table Les Viviers in Nice, where he worked for eight years as a chef alongside the Best Worker of France (1996) Jacques Rolancy. A course marked by a few podiums (participation in the MOF in 2006, three times finalist of the Taittinger Prize 2007, 2008, 2009).

Laurence, his wife, was for three years director of the Viviers room, took charge of the décor and the art of the table (Vauzelle furniture, Yves Deshouyères cutlery, lighting design).

Market, Mediterranean cuisine, contemporary atmosphere and reasonably priced menus make this restaurant a success in which David and Laurence have invested their heart and talent. Surrounded by their team, they set Nice the tone of a new generation of chefs proud of their profession and highly respectful of their customers.

The BistrO Gourmand has also received its first michelin star awarded by the Michelin guide 2012.Il celebrates its five-year anniversary, and receives the recognition "TABLE REMARQUABLE" by Chateaux and Cllection Hotels
