The Tourist Train of the Pignesis a centuries-old train line known all over the world!
The first voyage of the Pignes Train dates back to 1891. Today, the train connects Nice and Digne-les-Bains in 151 km of narrow track. It climbs to more than 1000 meters above sea level and crosses more than 50 tunnels, bridges and viaducts. The train stops in a dozen small towns or villages: 50 stations or stops allow you to discover a splendid region between sea and mountain.
You will pass from the palm trees of the Côte d'Azur to the smell of thyme and lavender of the High Country, from olive crops to often snow-capped mountains.
Terroir and discovery are at the rendezvous for a unique trip to the heart of Haute Provence.
A must-do with your family.
