EXPO NICE AND THE FABULOUS CARNIVAL OF RIO

As part of its 150th anniversary, the City of Nice organizes from 10 to 26 February 2023, the "Carnival of Nice, King of the Treasures of the World" to honor the inscription of Nice "winter resort city of Riviera" on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

To celebrate this event, the City of Nice wishes to honor the carnival of Rio.

The Massena Museum from Thursday 2 February to Sunday 5 March 2023 presents in the salons of the villa, documents and historical archives retracing the Carnival of Nice, and will host on the second floor, the official exhibition "N ice and the fabulous Carnival of Rio"a unique set in Europe of authentic costumes of the great samba schools of Rio de Janeiro from the Alain Taillard collection, curator of the exhibition.
