After a dense summer with more than fifteen outdoor screenings offered in the city, the start of the film season in Nice promises to be rich, and especially at the Cinémathèque de Nice which reopens its doors on September 15 with a master class of Catherine Corsini at 8 pm, followed by a retrospective of her films, organized in partnership with the Queer Festival of Nice.

Among the other events of this autumn, the Cinémathèque de Nice offers you a tribute to Jean-Claude Carrière in the presence of his wife Nahal Tajedod, the writer Atiq Rahimi and the directors Volker Schlöndorff and Jean-Paul Rappeneau on September 24,and an exceptional Master class by Jean-Paul Rappeneau on September 25.

The month will also be marked by many other tributes (Marina Vlady, San Antonio, Marcel Proust), meetings with authors and filmmakers as part of the Book Festival and the Nice European Short Film Festival "A festival is too short!", and of course the resumption of screenings dedicated to young audiences every Wednesday and Saturday.
