The "Mimosa Route" is in the Alpes-Maritimes, Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Tanneron, Pégomas, Grasse.

MANDELIEU-LA-NAPOULE

This is the first stage of the Alpes-Maritimes, and it is the cradle of mimosa culture!

This is where the starting point of La Route d'Or, which winds through the heart of Europe's largest mimosa forest, is located.

The "capital of mimosa" offers a real floral explosion, the mimosa is everywhere, from the city to the hills! A charming itinerary scented with these fluffy yellow flowers, with intoxicating fragrance.

From Mandelieu-la-Napoule, head for Pégomas, then follow Tanneron.

TANNERON

Visit the delightful little village of Tanneron and along the way, enjoy the view offered by the famous Golden Road,along which you will be given to see mimosa in the wild in the surrounding forests.
On the first Sunday of the month is held the Provençal Market of the village, where you will find many local products present on the stalls, ... mimosa honey, rich fragrances of the sweet scents of this "yellow gold" ...

PEGOMAS

Visit Pegomas, the mimosa garden,where you will discover 11 varieties of mimosas!

And go to the bakery, at the "Fournil du Logis", to have the pleasure of tasting the Mimosette which is a pretty brioche decorated with mimosa! It is traditionally done only during the Festival of mimosa.
It is in the heart of this small village that the Brotherhood of mimosa was established in 1998.
