PATRICK VERBEKE
It was in the early 1960s that Patrick Verbeke discovered the Blues, with Memphis Slim and Mickey Baker, among others. Today, he is considered the "Mr. Blues" of French song. Initially a guitarist, he accompanied many American and English artists visiting France (Freddie King, Memphis Slim, Sugar Blue, Freddie Fingers Lee, Sonny Fisher, Vince Taylor...) and recorded in the studio with David Mc Neil, Valérie Lagrange, William Sheller, Yves Montand and many others! He is also a singer, songwriter, composer and a stage man, who since 1980 has been scouring all the theatres and festivals, with an average of a hundred performances per year.
CHRIS LANCRY
It has been part of the Blues landscape in France since the 1970s. His guitar style is both rooted in the traditional and based on improvisation. After studying Lightnin' Hopkins, Robert Johnson and the various styles of acoustic blues, he discovered the "white" music of Doc Watson, Merle Travis and Jerry Reed. His game will now be a mixture of all these influences. If he draws them from the American black blues and the music "Ol' Time", he always gives free rein to his inspiration, and his pieces reflect a very contemporary feeling, which gives pride of place to the imagination ...
HERZHAFT CISCO
He's a real bully, a man of field and blues who has worn his shoes (and strings) on the roads of the world and who has often raised his sleeves to do no less than twenty-eight trades but also to record a dozen albums including his last " Son Of A Watchmaker." Author, composer, finger picker, skilled slide technician, he is also showman, tireless wanderer of the blues, narrator of anecdotes, taking the audience on a journey on the roads of the blues, communicating his fishing and his passion.
