Nice film
This film is a cinematographic object not quite identified / identifiable. The Austrian Director, Gustav Deutsch, began a bold challenge that is to recreate, enliven and embody thirteen paintings by the American painter Edward Hopper. Gustav Deutsch essentially restores the interiors and offers a sleek, almost abstract universe. Shirley is the (fictitious) name of the main character who accompanies us a table, on a journey both pictorial and introspective.
