Paleolithic art is not easy to grasp whether paintings, engravings or furniture art... The Artesens association has selected works from major sites of prehistoric caves in France and more widely in Europe. The sites of Chauvet, Lascaux, Cosquer, Pech-Merle, Altamira Caves, but also furniture art from Austria and Germany are staged in several modules. Interactive, educational, and sensory devices to make them accessible to all, these masterpieces that transport us to the origins of the history of art. As in all the exhibitions of Artesens, the art of the caves is open to all, children and adults, sighted and blind, disabled.

We propose to introduce the first module of this exhibition. It is dedicated to the Cosquer cave, which was discovered in Marseille. This presentation will be implemented in the Multipurpose room of the Museum of archaeology.

The Artesens association sets up twenty years of touring exhibitions to discover works of art belonging to our former and current heritage sighted adults and children and no lights. Artesens has already worked with many museums (Museum of the Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac, Museum national Picasso, MuCEM, Archaeological Museum of Nîmes, MAMAC in Nice, etc.) and institutions such as the Centre for national monuments.
