On the occasion of the "European night of museums 2017", the city of Nice opens free museums and galleries to the public and offers night tours with an original approach, Saturday, May 20, 2017. A Saturday night unique that allows to discover your otherwise museums...

Itinerant concerts in the collection permanent of the Matisse Museum, discovery of traditional Indian music to the Lascaris Palace, visit the reserves of the Museum of archaeology of Cimiez and Terra Amata, music and poetry from Iran to the Museum of naïve Art, establishing a work in public at the Massena Museum, mediation and concert at the Museum of fine arts, fashion show at the Museum of photography, cabinet of curiosities restored to the natural history Museum, are in all 12 locations that will be available to the magic of the night!

Marathon concert in tribute to Philip Glass, with the support of the National Conservatory to influence Regional

On the occasion of the 80 years of the grand master of American minimalist music Nicolas Horvath will play the integral for the composer's piano during six hours, without a break during which the public will be able to come and go at your leisure. These physical and musical performances are part of the route that the talented solo pianist leads in parallel to international classical career. But the young pianist atypical is not his first attempt. He has already accomplished this feat at the Philharmonie de Paris for the night white 2016, at Carnegie Hall in January 2017, or at the Palais de Tokyo with the Vexations of Erik Satie played for thirty-six hours. Nicolas Horvath is a Steinway artist.

• §20 h: Performance on the terraces of the Museum

Born in 1983, and a graduate in 2012 of the fine arts in Nice, Rémi Voche is a nomadic artist. From Paris, he travels the world and built his practice according to the meetings with nature and urbanism that surround it. Photography, performance and video are its 3 mediums of choice. He was instinctively with for his own body raw.

Solo aerial dance by the company Libertivore

This show takes us in a poetic universe. He was born from the meeting of the arts of the circus, dance and the raw wood. A harmonious and hypnotic body between the apparatus out of the ordinary and this young woman in metamorphosis.

• §22 h - 23 h 30: Ciné-concert in the air and on ice

Discover the daily life of an Inuit of the North Coast family East of the Canada in 1922. To the rhythm of the days and the seasons, fishing and the construction of igloos, the Filmmaker Robert Flaherty Unveils life of the North in what is considered to be one of the first feature-length documentary films. This trip in the grandiose nature landscapes and the magic of smiles is accompanied by bassist Merakhaazan which carries contemporary electro acoustic worlds and offers a live performance.
