MARC CHAGALL NATIONAL MUSEUM
National Museum devoted entirely to the religious work of the painter Marc Chagall, also called "National Museum of biblical message" because it brings together the series of seventeen paintings painted by Chagall illustrating the biblical message, illustrating The Genesis, the Exodus, and the Song of Songs.
The Museum now has one of the largest sets of works by Marc Chagall.
Built by the architect André Hermant (1908-1978), former collaborator of Auguste Perret and Le Corbusier, the building and gardens offer a climate of serenity, a kind of spirituality desired by Chagall at the Museum.
Call the museum for guided and commented tours.
