Locatedin the heart of Old Nice in a former industrial building, the MUSÉE DE LA PHOTOGRAPHIE CHARLES NÈGRE offers temporary monographic exhibitions of the biggest names in photography or themes presenting all trends, from old photography to digital images.

One of the missions of this institution is to gather a photographic collection on Nice and its region, through research of old documents but also by entrusting photographers with missions of inventory of the human, urban, historical, natural and industrial heritage of the city. Thus, the museum has an adjoining gallery dedicated to its photographic collection, now consisting of 1700 images and 220 objects.
