The Museum of Asian Arts in Nice is a place of encounters and exchanges between Asian arts and Western culture!

Set amid the scents and greenery of Phoenix Park, the museum built on the lake gives the illusion of floating on the water.
The architectural aesthetic of the museum is based on the contrast of solid shapes and transparent walls. The white marble covering the walls of the museum gives it an appearance of robustness while the glass panels give it lightness. These volumes are clearly separated by linear openings giving the impression that architecture plays with the laws of gravity.

Based on a selection of emblematic works evoking the spirit of Asian cultures, mixing court arts and popular or tribal expressions, the museum's collections reconcile genres traditionally split between history museums, ethnography and decorative arts, while also focusing on some contemporary creations.
At the very heart of the collections, live art shows, demonstrations of the Asian Gestures, weekly tea ceremonies, extend and enchant the tour-walk of this serene place.
