"The 22" is a space dedicated to contemporary creation and the visual arts.
Located in the historic district of La Libération in Nice, the place was for many years a wine and spirits business before being transformed into an exhibition space.
Today, "Le 22" aims to promote the emerging art scene and strives to reflect its dynamism, especially at the local level. While supporting the young creation and new generations of artists, the venue also features more experienced artists and offers cycles of monographic or collective exhibitions throughout the year depending on the projects and Thematic.
Convinced that contemporary artistic production is the living expression of our society, "The 22" commits, beyond the conventional framework of the gallery, to develop a dialogue between art and the public by emphasizing the pedagogical and cultural aspect.
To do this, in parallel with a demanding program, "Le 22" offers specific events and editions related to the visual arts - graphics, microéditions, multiples, projections, performances,...- as well as a cycle of mediations and visits commented to the attention of all the public.

It is in this spirit of openness and the desire to convey the interest that drives us to promote the art of today that we will welcome you at 22 rue de Dijon.
