Located at the foot of the Castle Hill, at the bottom of the Saleya Course, and adjacent to the old Senate of Nice, the chapel of the Most Holy Trinity and the Holy Shroud belongs to the brotherhood of the red penitents. In memory of the stay of the precious Shroud in Nice, the Brotherhood of red penitents, solemnly celebrates every year in its chapel of the Cours Saleya the liturgical feast of the Holy Shroud.
The chapel is baroque in style. Its bell tower is covered with glazed tiles "in the noise".
Every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., guided tour of the Chapel of the Shroud.

** During his transfer from Chambery to Turin, the Shroud, who was the first and happens to be the last witness to the resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, stayed in the citadel of Nice Castle from 1536 to 1543.
The shrede of Christ is now preserved in the royal chapel of St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Turin,Italy.
