MONACO OCEANOGRAPHIC INSTITUTE
Albert 1st Foundation, Prince of Monaco
The Museum of the Oceanographic Institute of Monaco is a magical place to do with your family!
Created by Prince Albert I of Monaco in 1889, this imposing Palace was built on a cliff's side and descended to the sea. The ornament of its facades, that of the halls, all its architecture evokes the marine world.
It is a true immersion in the heart of the marine world. You will discover more than 6000 specimens in their faithfully reconstructed natural environment. You will be able to admire the amazing species of the Mediterranean, the incredible diversity of the inhabitants of the coral reef, and you will go to meet the predators in the monumental Shark Lagoon!.
