The cellar of the tower is the rendezvous of the fine palaces that are fond of all the flavors of the County of Nice!
Created in 1947, this sign in the heart of the old town of Niçoise is a family affair held by Jean Philippe who took over the affair of grandfather Eugène in 2001.
Half a century later, its zinc still remains the rendezvous of the fine palate.
From 7 am, butchers and fishmongers raised to potron-twink come here as once for "merendà" around the fine deli meats of the high country.
At noon, it is at the slate that Jean Philippe, fond of tradition, declines the flavours of the County at the mercy of the market. Stockfisch, capouns stuffed, stew polenta, the dishes of the day bring together the regulars, but also the discerning oenophiles around Crus racy well from home. Wines of Bellet, Villars, Saint-Jeannet, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, the Abbaye de Lerins are mixed with bottles and tasting by the glass.
This cellar is very local colors, or the professionalism goes from "Chichi" but or conviviality is not a vain Word, also proposes the great appellations of the French vineyard, the prestigious houses of champagnes and fine alcohols millésimés.
