The Lost and Found Service of the CITY OF NICE is placed under the protection of the Municipal Police

According to the municipal decree of May 7, 2009, anyone who, in Nice, finds an object on the public highway, on public transport, in public places or in the common areas of private buildings, must drop it off within 24 hours, either at the Police Station of their neighborhood or at the Lost and Found Department of the City of Nice.

Objects with a value of 50 euros or more are kept for 6 months, objects with a value of less than 50 euros are kept for 1 month and nominative objects or identity papers are kept for 1 year and 1 day.

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Friday : from 8h30 to 15h45
• Closed on weekends and public holidays
