Ranked by the National Council of Culinary Arts as one of the exceptional markets in France!
The fruit and vegetable market at Cours Saleya is a real Mediterranean market, warm and full of life. It is still the exceptional location of the hillsides of Nice, between sea and mountain, between Provence and Italy, bathed in sunshine, that offers the Nice region a production of fruits and vegetables of the country: taste of course the olives niçoise, the olive caviar with the truffle, but also small zucchini flowers, mesclun, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, Lemon of Menton, ... . The Saleya Course houses, under pretty striped and colorful tarpaulins, the stalls of small fruit and vegetable producers. It's very lively and it makes you want to buy. But watch out! it is more expensive than elsewhere, because the bulk of the customers are tourists.
