For the5th time since its creation, the Bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer is hosting the AIDA Apnea World Cup which will take place from 6 to 15 September.

This year, nearly 140 participants, women and men, representing 40 countries are expected and will challenge each other in 3 disciplines in Villefranche-sur-Mer harbour.

The organizers want to make this championship an eco-event that meets the criteria of the GREEN Deal, environmental policy of the Department of The Alpes-Maritimes. It will bring together the world's best freelancers around a single cause: public awareness of the protection of the seas and oceans.

This year different generations of freetraders will compete: 18/20 year olds against the over-35s on a 400 m2 competition platform unique in the world.
