The "Treasures of the Mediterranean images" Colloquium explores the important heritage of images of the Mediterranean and its cultures. Mediterranean imaginations through analyses, testimonies, prospects for still image or audio-visual warnings speak to our senses, today as yesterday
The joyous emotion during this afternoon of the global Mediterranean to its varied shores, from Greece to Egypt up to the Cote d'Azur and Nice, in song, music, pictures.
For this third edition, two moments are offered to the public: a round table from the movies and songs, a dialogue around artists and sculptors of the Mediterranean.

Round table around excerpts of films, songs and audiovisual archives
Speakers: Stéphane Sawas (Professor at Inalco) talk about the dating in the post-war Greek cinema, Julien Gaertner (historian, University of Nice) in Egyptian cinema, Naima Yahi (historian, URMIS Paris) in the song Mediterranean of Bob Azzam to Dalida. Mireille Maurice (Director INA Mediterranean) will offer a selection of archives related to this topic.

"Back to the 'Mediterranean': Aristide Maillol and Robert Couturier to Pino Pascali.
The Mediterranean has been the subject of inspiration of many artists throughout the 20th century. Allegorical figure in Aristide Maillol or Robert Couturier to the variations of blue water installation (32 m 2 sea) of the Italian artist Pino Pascali, this dialogue will put into perspective the temporality of the sculpture and the attachment to the Mediterranean.
