Participate in a unique experience: visit the museums at night!

In the framework of its Museum policy, the city of Nice, willing to promote, for the benefit of visitors, extended and privileged access to culture, has wished to implement a device for opening night of the museums.

That's why the MAMAC, the Massena Museum and the Lascaris Palace, in the heart of a large area of attendance during the summer period, launch the device. Thus, every Thursday from July 20 to October 12, 2017, three museums will open their doors to visitors up to 22 hours!

At the time where, usually, visitors leave the museums, what's nicer than strolling in their spaces at night? An ideal way to (re) discover their collections and summer exhibitions, then finished on the terraces of the MAMAC with unobstructed under the stars, stroll the streets of old Nice to join the Lascaris Palace or to walk in the gardens of the Masséna Museum... But still keep your eyes open! It may be that your night is embellished with some unusual and unexpected animations:

At the MAMAC, in connection with the exhibition ' about Nice: 1947-1977 "* and the permanent collections, attend visits dramatised company Fox ' art, musical performances and Luc Fenoli the CNRR, to the company dance solos Antipodes and the lighting of the wall of fire by Yves Klein on the terraces.

At the Villa Masséna, enjoy the 'Nice at school of history' exhibition * in music and recital of Christina Collier (soprano), Magali Pyka of Coster (harpist) and Gilles San Juan (Tenor);

To the Lascaris Palace, discover a series of concerts of Chamber music in collaboration with the Orchestra of harmony of Niceet exposure of 32 original posters of the Nice Jazz Festival carried out by artists on the occasion of the Nice Jazz Festival 2017.
