On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the symbolic birth of "the school of Nice" initiated by Arman, Klein and Pascal, and which was the first exhibition of the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris when it opened to the public in 1977 under the title of a work film famous and comprises of Jean Vigo "About Nice" (1930), the city of Nice offers a summer program of four exhibitions in four emblematic places of art in our city, under the generic title "Nice 2017, School (s) of Nice." These exhibitions will engage all the collections of the museums of the city, with many national loans and internationaux.nice-2017-ecole-s-de-nice person doesn't really know what is the school of Nice! It seems to say that it is a set of diverse artists, who have in common to keep away any academicism and any convention, who have achieved a significant part of their work in Nice or in the region; they are all of the initiators and no followers and are part of a contemporary issue. It's mostly "a bunch of merry friends hair scratch" art, which through different ways of expression and various currents have been associated with the so-called "School of Nice". Interested in the school of Nice? Arman, Ben, Caesar, Claude Gilli, Yves Klein, Robert Malaval, Claude Pascal, Martial Raysse, bernar Venet, Alocco, Eze, Noël Dolla,... they're almost all. Run ahead! * Museum Masséna: "Nice at school of history"
* MASSENA Museum: "Nice at school of history"
* MAMAC: "about Nice: 1947-1977."
* The Ponchettes Gallery: "Noël Dolla. Spatial restructuring"
* 109: "The Surface of the East Coast. From Nice to New York"
